FAQ

Q: Why does it fail to boot after restoring or cloning disk in Windows 8/XP/2003?

A: Your windows may fail to boot if the two parameters of the destination disk differ with these of the source disk after restoring or cloning disk, because the booting of Windows 8/XP/2003 relies on the two physical parameters of disk, heads and sector numbers per track. In this case, you can boot the Windows by modifying the parameters of the destination disk to be identical with these of source disk via BIOS setup utility. Please see main board instructions for the specific modification.
