To ensure you can restore from the backed-up image file successfully, EASEUS Todo Backup enables you to check the integrity of image file of backed up partitions/disk. After you backup your system partition or disk, you can check your image file of the partition, please follow the step-by-step instructions as below:
1. Launch EASEUS Todo Backup.
2. Click "Check Image File" in the left column or Operation in the tool bar.
3. Select the backup image you need to check (suppose it stored on the I: drive), click next. If you have set a password when you make a backup, please input the password first and click Confirm.
4. Preview operations to be performed. After confirming the operations, please click "Proceed" to check the image file.
5. EASEUS Todo Backup will automatically check the integrity of backup archives.
After checking that there is no error with the backed-up image, you may perform the restore now. For more detailed of how to restore from the image files, please refer to Restore Your Hard Drive and operating system.
Check Image Operations will check the integrity of backup archives and show you whether you are able to perform a successful restore of your system partition or hard drive or not. Once it finds errors with the backup archives, you can make a correct backup again in time. So we strongly suggest you check your image after you have backed up the partitions or disk with EASEUS Todo Backup. For your data security, please also check image before restoring in case that the backup archives are wrong and destroy your data.
