Unlike other Windows operating system developed by Microsoft, Windows Small Business Server is technically not an edition of the Windows Server operating system but rather a customized SKU of server technologies targeted especially to small businesses. It is an integrated server suite from Microsoft designed for running network infrastructure of small and medium enterprises having no more than 75 workstations or users.

To schedule and implement a backup, run the Backup Configuration Wizard from the To Do List or from the Manage Backup task pad in Server Management. To backup Windows Small Business Server, you must be logged on as a member of the Domain Administrator security group.
1. Click Start, and then click Server Management.
2. Click Backup in the console tree.
3. If you have already configured backup settings and want to back up the computer running Windows Small Business Server immediately, click Backup Now.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the wizard.
